During this project Atlantis Project Management and Construction were tasked to install a brand new bathroom installation to the clients exact specifications that was in keeping with an old country house situated outside chelmsford.
Before project started on the bathroom installation the floor needed to be leveled so that the new free-standing bath could sit level within the room.
The floor also needed strengthening to support the additional weight of water within the bath.
We started the bathroom project by replacing the timber beams throughout the room, before adding a ply floor that was then latex ready for tiling.
During the bathroom installation we replaced the old iron plumbing and lead waste pipes to plastic to provide an efficient water flow to the new bath.
Once we had completed the tiling through the entire bathroom, we installed the new bath complete with stylish taps complimenting the house age and era.
At Atlantis we take our responsibility to the environment very seriously.
All our bathroom materials when possible are sourced from sustainable sources and waste is kept to a minimum in any project.
We recycled as many of the project items removed as possible, and where possible we re used some of the bathroom items. The old iron plumbing installation was removed, copper installed to increase the life expectancy of the boiler.
At the end of the bathroom installation we were delighted with the results and the joy on the clients face.
We had taken a dysfunctional bathroom space with an old disused bath to a clean modern family bathroom complete with the installation of new plumbing that will ensure the water flow to the bathroom for ears to come.
A bathroom project that created a massive talking point to compliment an already beautiful Essex country house.
